Mango, pistachio lassi

Lassi’s are a traditional drink from India, Pakistan and Bangladesh – Unless you have been to any of these countries you’ve most likely tried it at your local Indian restaurant where the most popular is the Mango lassi. They’re usually made with a variation of yoghurt, water, fruit, honey and spices – which is the base of this recipe. But to make it a little more health focused and worthwhile we’ve added a serve of Passion projects Pea protein + in Vanilla in order to make this not just a delicious take on a classic drink but also a great recipe for your daily protein shake!

INGREDIENTS:

  • 3/4 cup frozen mango chunks
  • 1 cup almond milk
  • 2 tpsn of organic yoghurt (optional)
  • 1/2 teaspoon lemon juice
  • 1/2 teaspoon honey
  • Dash of vanilla extract
  • Pinch of cardamom
  • 1 teaspoon chopped pistachios
  • 1 serve of Passion Projects Vanilla Pea Protein+

METHOD:

  • Put all ingredients in a blender and mix until smooth
