Raw, vegan snickers slice recipe

This is one of those great raw, vegan recipes which taste just as good but minus the guilt – totally sugar and gluten free, this recipe is awesome



  1. 2 cups almond meal
  2. 2 tbsp coconut oil
  3. 1 tbsp xylitol
  4. 2 tbsp 100% natural peanut butter paste
  5. 1 tsp ground vanilla bean or extract
  6. Pinch Himalayan salt


  1. 3 cups medjool dates (remove pips)
  2. 1/3 cup coconut oil
  3. 2 tbsp 100% natural peanut butter paste
  4. 1 tsp Himalayan salt
  5. 1/2cup roasted peanuts OR almonds


  1. 1/4 cup raw cacao powder
  2. 2 tbspn xylitol
  3. 1/3 cup coconut oil
  4. 1/3 cup butter


  1. Get a cake tin (tray) and line with baking paper
  2. Blend the base layer ingredients in a food processor until smooth – then spread evenly into the base of your tin
  3. Blend the crunchy middle layer ingredients in a food processor and then put into the cake tin on top of the base layer. Smooth it out evenly.
  4. Put the chocolate layer ingredients into a saucepan over mid-heat until you create a smooth chocolate sauce
  5. pour the chocolate sauce over the top of the slice
  6. sprinkle a handful of whole or chopped almond on top
  7. put in the fridge until the chocolate hardens
